All Work No Play

All work and no play: why your kids are more anxious, depressed by Esther Entin this article is about parent telling kids what to do and how to play instead of letting the kids be free.

In the story it said, "play gives children a chance to find and develop a connection to their own self-identified and self-guided interests." They said if the children are being told what to do they won't pick up on stuff they should learn on their own such as, controlling your emotions and being your own person also deciding on what you like to do. In the story it also say that, "

Personally, kids need they space and learn right from wrong on their own or they would never grow up to be there own man or lady. Parents should be more free with they kids if they want them to turn out independent and know how to grind and work when they get old enough.

To sum everything up parents need to let they kids live through they bad and good decision, so they can learn how to take responsible for what they did or didn't do.

  1. What you have is fine, but this post is short. Try to do more with part 4 of the blog post format. Do you feel you had lots of free play time growing up? What kind of parent would you be? 75
